How'd it come about?

This song features the Roland VG-88 Guitar Synthesizer. What a crazy piece of equipment. I bought it for my birthday in 2004(?) and wrote/recorded this song on christmas day of the same year. I really hadn't been recording much because of my work schedule and because the recording equipment was setup in the basement which was freezing in the winter. Everything was done in one day. The lead guitar sound was a result of overloading the signal into the computer to create a distortion which I never could recreate. I find that happens a lot, where you get this great sound, and you can't recreate it later. In other words, if it sounds cool, make sure its exactly the way you want it before you break for the day.
