How'd it come about?

This is a tune that I wrote around 2004. I was deliberately trying to come up with something different than my usual acoustic guitar riffs. I got this one riff and decided to record it and just play over it. This is the result. Its a lot simpler than a lot of my other stuff. Its been in my "maybe I will do something with that eventually" pile for years. The violin sounding lead over it (30 seconds in) is actually a guitar put through the VG88 synthesizer. The background ambience is a guitar put through the synthesizer (I think I was playing inverted octaves... thats how I remember it). Don't like the name... that's what happens when you throw things together and dig them up years later though!
